Red Hat OpenShift & Kubernetes

Certified Red Hat partner delivery: production container platforms with GitOps, service mesh, secure supply chain and 24×7 operations.

02 / Run containers safely

Overview

Cloudlit builds and operates container platforms for organisations that need Kubernetes to behave like enterprise infrastructure: governed, observable, patched and supported. As a certified Red Hat partner we deploy OpenShift across eight dimensions, architecture, applications, scalability, storage and backup, CI/CD, disaster recovery, monitoring and security, on-premise, in sovereign environments and on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, alongside managed EKS, AKS and GKE.

What Cloudlit delivers

Cluster architecture and sizing

Control plane and node pool design, GPU and CPU pools, storage classes, ingress, multi-cluster topology and right-sized capacity from core data centres to edge sites.

OpenShift networking and service mesh

SDN design, Istio or OpenShift Service Mesh, ingress and egress controllers and network policies for secure, high-performance connectivity across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Platform governance and security

Namespaces, RBAC, quotas, admission controls, secrets management, pod security and image signing so critical applications run in a controlled environment.

Pipelines and GitOps delivery

Tekton and OpenShift Pipelines, Helm, Argo CD or OpenShift GitOps, environment promotion, rollback design and controlled change with Git as the source of truth.

Application modernisation

Assessment of the current application landscape, lift-and-shift or re-architecture into containerised microservices, and source-to-image builds with minimal disruption to business continuity.

Secure registries and supply chain

Private registries, image scanning, SBOMs and policy enforcement before workloads reach production.

AI and data workloads on OpenShift

GPU-enabled node pools, model serving and data pipeline integration for demanding AI and machine learning workloads on the same governed platform.

Observability, upgrades and lifecycle

Metrics, logs, tracing, alerting and on-call runbooks for the platform, plus tested upgrade paths, patch cadence and capacity reviews under a defined service level.

Outcomes

  • A container platform teams can deploy to safely without platform expertise
  • Consistent controls across on-premise, sovereign and cloud clusters with a unified management plane
  • Signed, scanned images and auditable change from commit to production
  • Faster application lifecycle from development to deployment, with less time spent on infrastructure
  • Predictable upgrades, optimised resource utilisation and a clear ownership model

Why Cloudlit for this

Certified Red Hat partner

Supported deployments with access to Red Hat engineering escalation and certified engineers across multiple platforms.

Eight-dimension deployment method

Architecture, applications, scalability, storage and backup, CI/CD, disaster recovery, monitoring and security are designed together, not bolted on.

Enterprise open source expertise

We help IT operations and developers adopt open-source platforms with the governance an enterprise expects.

Proven in banking and AI

OpenShift clusters with GPU node pools running production AI platforms inside bank perimeters and for sovereign AI products.

How an engagement runs

  1. OpenShift readiness assessment: infrastructure, application portfolio and requirements
  2. Environment architecture with risks outlined and controls agreed
  3. Cluster build, hardening, integration and zero-downtime workload onboarding
  4. Verification, handover and managed operations under SLA

Frequently asked questions

Does Cloudlit support OpenShift on-premise?

Yes. Cloudlit designs and operates OpenShift clusters inside client data centres, including sovereign deployments with no public network path, as well as OpenShift on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.

Can Cloudlit manage Kubernetes that is not OpenShift?

Yes. We provision, upgrade, network and harden clusters on AWS EKS, Azure AKS and Google GKE, and on bare metal or on-premise environments using distributions such as RKE2 alongside OpenShift.

What happens during a cluster deployment?

We work with your team to understand requirements, design the environment architecture and outline every risk before deployment. A project manager keeps you updated throughout, and after go-live our engineers verify everything is operating as designed. Ongoing support is included.

Can existing clusters be brought under managed operations?

Cloudlit begins with a platform assessment, remediates gaps in governance, observability and lifecycle, and then takes on operations with a defined service level.
